Today, in a meeting about improving some HR processes, Noah Goellner, President of Hennig Inc and AME Co., reminded the team of something absolutely fundamental to being able to improve!
That is that you need to have a specific, visible Target (what should be happening) that everyone knows and sees, so that when the Actual (what’s happening now) and Target don’t meet, there is a gap! A problem, that can be solved!
Hitting the Target feels nice, but once your team can hit it regularly, you need to adjust it so a further gap, and further improvement can occur!
