When was the last time you took a close look, a really close look, at the way you do things…anything? At work? At home? If you’re like most people, probably, not that often. Because, the more we do things, and the more we get used to doing them a certain way, the more they become habit. And once things become a habit, they fade into the background. Problem with that is, things around us change constantly. I know it’s a little cliché to say, but it’s true. Situations at work and within families change, technology changes, and even the way we think about and understand many things change throughout our lives as we gain new insights from our experiences. Because of this, we have many opportunities to do things in different ways, and learn and grow from those experiences. But only if we are willing to stop and take a close look at what we’re doing and say: Why am I doing it this way? It is time for a change?
