Although people don’t usually think of creativity as a habit, I do. And here’s why. Just like anything else that we do over and over that becomes a ‘habit’ – making healthy food choices or exercising for example – being  creativefinding ways to combine knowledge and learning from our previous experiences in new and unusual ways – can become a habit too. So how can you make a ‘creativity habit’? It’s easy. Instead of ignoring that little voice in your head that whispers “I have an idea…” every time you hear it – no matter how wild or crazy or impossible the idea seems – say it out loud, write it down and then try it out to see what happens! As you get used to accepting your ideas and turning them into realities, you’ll soon find that you have a ‘creativity habit’ too, just like I do!
